Transmitters

Dual Rate(DH)

A mechanism that allows you to dampen your control inputs.

Throttle Curve(TC)

A mechanism that modifies your throttle input to achieve a power curve as opposed to a one to one correlation between the position of your input and the throttle setting. In it's most basic form(and arguable not a "curve") it would simply be a one to one relationship between the position of the input and the actual throttle: 0% throttle @  no input, 50% @ half input, and 100% @ full input. Now taking it a step further...

Pitch Curve(PC)

Much like a TC, it's a mechanism that modifies the pitch input to achieve the desired...

Batteries

When hooked in (S)eries, the voltage is additive. When hooked in (P)arrallel, the capacity is doubled. Essentially this increases your flight time although at some point there is a traded off for the extra weight and available room!

LiPo

Each cell is 3.7 volts:

3.7 volt battery = 1 cell x 3.7 volts (1S)
7.4 volt battery = 2 cells x 3.7 volts (2S)
11.1 volt battery = 3 cells x 3.7 volts (3S)
14.8 volt battery = 4 cells x 3.7 volts (4S)
18.5 volt battery = 5 cells x 3.7 volts (5S)
22.2 volt battery = 6 cells x 3.7 volts (6S)
29.6 volt battery = 8 cells x 3.7 volts (8S)
37.0 volt battery = 10 cells x 3.7 volts (10S)
44.4 volt battery = 12 cells x 3.7 volts (12S)

The "C" rating is simply a measure of the batteries ability to deliver it's power. Essentially the bigger the value the better.

Balancing

This is an essential part of multi-cell LiPo battery maintenance. It ensures that each cell remains equalized. Make sure your charger supports the feature.
